Here’s A Glimpse Into My Journey - Unfiltered, Sincere, Straight From The Heart!

I come from Indian roots but have woven my story across different corners of the world. I started life in Britain, embraced the vibrant Canadian culture in Toronto, chased the Los Angeles dream (LOVED it), and eventually circled back to London. Now? I proudly call Surrey Hills my ‘home sweet home’!

Canadian culture has been influential, yet my Indian heritage and cultural values remain my bedrock. After university, the prospect of an 'arranged marriage saga' loomed, but I sought genuine connections, steering clear of scripted meetings. Opting for a different path, I pursued a doctorate in LA that resonated with my aspirations.

Amidst a persistent desire for children, reproductive health challenges resulted in a heartbreaking subtotal hysterectomy. Managing menorrhagia, I was prescribed oral contraceptives, yet complications such as Thrombosis, Pulmonary Embolism, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and Anemia added layers of complexity to my journey. The unwavering support of family and friends remained a constant source of strength, but cultural stigma brought shame and strained my love life.

Communication became my lifeline, unveiling the transformative power of conversation in altering life's trajectories. Now, in a place of happiness and health, I embrace myself fully with all the good things life has to offer. I also cherish spending time with my adorable fur baby, Ziggi Rocket, my lovable cockapoo!!

Why a LADYBUG, you may ask? Their graceful movement mirrors embracing life's changes and challenges with ease. Ladybugs symbolise resilience, adaptability, and joy, inspiring optimism and appreciation for each person's unique journey.

Despite the pain of not becoming mothers, our value surpasses conception. We matter, regardless. Amid unexpected challenges, I believe in endless possibilities. Each of us holds a purpose and can overcome heartaches.

The insights from my journey gave life to this not-for-profit organisation, 'House of Ladybug,' that offers guidance drawn from personal experiences, born out of heartfelt passion and a desire to support others.

Let's seize every moment - TOGETHER we are STRONGER!
